Snowflower: Yeah, and to be honest I’m a little scared. I mean I know this was my choice and all, but it’s just so nerve wracking to think about.
Cupid: You know if you wanted, I could maybe stay around to help you put a little.

Snowflower: You just met me.
Cupid: Yeah, well I happen to be an excellent judge of character and you seem like you could really use a helping hand.
Snowflower: Well… Okay, but only until I figure this whole single mom thing out.

Snow decided to invite the Mulberry siblings over for some dinner, but it looks like pregnancy pains are getting the best of her.

Cupid very sweetly offered to give Snow a massage to help with her back.

Maybe it was just the pregnancy hormones talking or maybe it was that killer massage, but Snow seemed to take an immediate liking to Cupid.

It seems the feeling is mutual

Two bus stops and a train ride later and I’m finally here, “Sorbet Manor” as dad always ironically called our little vacation shack. Although I gotta admit it’s held up a lot better over the years than I would have thought. I mean sure it’ll probably be a little messy inside… but it’ll be my mess. My very own messy house. Well it’s too late to explore town tonight, so might as well get some rest.

This mattress is super dusty, this blanket is scratchy, and these pillows smell stale and yet this is the most comfortable bed in the world right now.

I can sleep through many things, but hunger is not one of them. Good thing I picked up a few things on my way here. Bread… check, cheese… check, butter… ah that’s a no go. Oh well, I’m sure I can make a grilled cheese without it.
